Firmware Dependency. The 9555 high capacity battery will work properly with all firmware versions but in order for the battery icon on the phone display to provide an accurate representation of charge level, phone firmware HT11001 or newer is required. With previous versions of phone firmware, the battery will provide the same level of talk time and standby time; however, the charge level may appear to be more depleted then the battery’s actual state. An insert is provided with the 9555 high capacity battery to describe this firmware dependancy.
