Features:
- Data Adapter - attaches to a Motorola 9500 or 9505 Portable Phone and provides a connection for a serial cable. Allows simultaneous connection of the AC Travel Charger, Auto Accessory Adapter or Solar Charger.
- Stand - Supports the Motorola 9500 or 9505 Portable Phone and allows the antenna to be oriented in a vertical position.
- Serial Cable - connects the Data Adapter to a computer serial port.
- Iridium World Data Services CD - Contains all software and documentation required to install and configure Iridium World Data Services on your computer. Documentation includes user guides, troubleshooting guides and application notes.
What you need:
- A Motorola 9500 (version INC0620 or later) or 9505 (version LAC0109 or later) portable phone with data-capable flash. Check the version in the phone by pressing *#91# on the keypad.
- A SIM card that is provisioned for data
- A PC, with: Windows 95, 98, Me, NT4.0 (Service Pack 4 or later), 2000, or XP
- Serial Port
- CD-ROM drive
Note: The Iridium Data Kit will also work with the Iridium 9520 Mobile Phone and the 9570 Portable Docking Station.
